The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine holds a celebration on the marriage anniversary of the two greatest lights Ali and Fatima (peace be upon both of them).

The greatest blessing and divine mercy that descended on this nation from heaven is Mohammad and his immaculate pure family. As their existence in itself is the abundant good on every existing thing. Therefore, all heavens in the sky and on earth flourished with the marriage of the two greatest lights: The light of the Hashemi boy whose the archangel Gabriel (peace be upon him) shouted his name when he said: "There is no boy but Ali and no sword except Dhu al-Fiqar.", and the light of the purity in person, about whom the Greatest Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy household) said: "Fatima is part from me, he who hurts her, hurts me."

In the commemoration of this glorious anniversary - the marriage of light from the light - through which the great divine light was inherited by the infallible Imams (peace be upon them), the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine represented by the department of the Hussayni rituals and processions has held on Tuesday, 2nd of Dhu al-Hijjah 1439 AH corresponding to August 14, 2018 in the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) its first annual celebration, which began by the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Ali Amouri and the participation of the Husayni Radoods; Mulla Ahmad al-Kinani, Mulla Qahtan al-Bedeiri and Mulla Hussein al-Zghayir al-Karbalai, who chanted with their beautiful voices the eulogies and poems about this cherished occasion expressing with the most wonderful words and expressions their joy and happiness in this auspicious anniversary and congratulating the Commander of the Faithful; Imam Ali ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon both of them) and Our Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) in their marriage anniversary.
