Department of Engineering Maintenance ends the maintenance and rehabilitation of sites belonging to the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine within the service preparations of the Ziyarat Arba'een.

The head of the Engineering Maintenance Department; Engineer Abbas Musa Ahmad, stated to al-Kafeel Network: "The Department of Engineering Maintenance, with all its divisions and units has conducted works of maintenance and rehabilitation of some of the sites belonging to the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine that will start received and serving the visitors coming to the holy city of Karbala, to extend their condolences to Imam Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) on the occasion of Arba'een of his martyrdom with his family and companions (peace be upon them all).

And he added: "These works included:

1- Increase of the absorptive capacity of the sanitary complexes by adding a new one with all its supplies.

2- Maintenance and rehabilitation of the old sanitary complexes of these sites, which included the addition of a new water pipe set, maintenance of sewerage networks, repair of wires and electric lamps, and changing some doors and accessories.

3- The addition of new dividers in the large squares allocated for the convenience of visitors, to separate between men and women, as well as the rehabilitation of the halls.

4- Processing sites with additional large refrigerators for the purpose of preserving food and meat, in addition to additional caravans as required.

5- Maintenance and repair of streets and pavements of internal and external sites.

6- Adding guiding screens to broadcast the activities directly from within the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and these screens were equipped in cooperation with the Division of Communications in the Department of Engineering Projects.

7- Equipping these sites with fans, air conditioning coolers and others for the purpose of the comfort of visitors in hot times during the rest of the path.
