The technical team of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine begins the work of the maintenance and rehabilitation of parts of the shrine of Saint Ruqayyah (peace be upon her).

The technical team dispatched by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to the Syrian capital of Damascus to conduct maintenance and rehabilitation work of the shrines of Lady Zaynab and Saint Ruqayyah (peace be upon both of them), has started the works in the holy shrine of Lady Ruqayyah (peace be upon her), where the delegation has conducted field detection study to determine the parts that require maintenance and renewal and the logistic needs for these works.

According to the technical team, the works included covering the gate for the entrance of women with (mdf) wood panels on an area of ​​500 meters. These doors were covered and decorated in an artistic manner commensurate with the sanctity of the shrine and in harmony with the existing decorations. The team has also installed air conditioners with high cooling capacity, providing them with the appropriate electric power and connecting them to the main system of the shrine, in addition to other side works related to the holy grid, the walls of the sanctuary and the holy shrine, as well as other electrical works such as connecting the lighting, sound and camera systems.

It is noteworthy that these works were preceded by other works sponsored by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, with the help of a specialized technical team who has done many of the maintenance works.
