The servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) recalled the day of the great victory of Iraq achieved against the terrorist ISIL gangs, congratulating the people of Iraq, its security leadership, popular mobilization and the supreme religious authority represented by his eminence Sayed al-Sistani, thanks to whose Fatwa, this victory is achieved and the land, dignity and sanctities were protected, and Iraq remained proud.

The employees of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine have held, as usual in every Monday and Thursday, a worship practice, which coincided today the 2nd of rabi' thani 1440 AH corresponding to December 10, 2018, to the declaration of the great victory of Iraq on the gangs of ignorance and darkness, achieved by our heroic security forces and the popular mobilization. After completing the recitation of the Ziyarat text of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and chanting the hymn of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; "Pride's tune", they chanted also poems praising the heroic epics of the Iraqi fighters, whose courage and bravery were inspired from the valor of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them). Recalling, that the supreme religious authority has honed the peoples' mettle by launching the defense fatwa.

They have also paid tribute to the martyrs of Iraq, who have shed their blood to protect their homeland from the enemy's hand. They have also prayed from the vicinity of the sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) for the speedy recovery of all the wounded and the injured, and also to their brothers stationed in the front lines of the fighting since the first days of the military operations. As the prayer is the best that one can offer to the heroes of the security forces and the popular mobilization, along the moral, logistical and material assistance that has been sent to the military units in the fighting areas.
