The installation of decorative forms to the Iwans' windows in the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The staff of the technical engineering maintenance department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine began installing decorative triangles on the Iwans' windows of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), replacing the old windows that had been installed for many years in order to beautify them and create a state of artistic symmetry between them and the rest of the parts of the holy sanctuary, and make it in the most beautiful image for its visitors.

The head of the engineering maintenance department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Eng. Abbas Hassan Musa, briefed us on these works. He said: "These windows, which were manufactured in the workshops of the department, are of good quality wood. The measurements were taken for each window, which is located in the middle of the upper part of the Iwan. Noting that the new window is an arched window containing intertwined decorations with a central circle on which it was written (Ya Qamar [Oh moon of] Bani Hashim), and surrounded by frame of 10 cm width and 7 cm thickness. It is covered from the inside by a layer that allows light through it".

It is worth mentioning that the engineering maintenance department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is a vital and effective department, as it includes many working divisions, units and workshops, and its technical and engineering staff work day and night in all the vital installations and facilities in the holy shrine in order to provide the best services to the respected visitors.
