Hawraa Amer Yassin from the Institute of the Holy Quran for Women of the Department of Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs in the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine won the first place in the field of recitation in the Quranic competition for high school students in memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran, qualifying for the international Quranic Competitions held by the National Center for Quranic Sciences of the Shiite Endowment, in cooperation with the Holy Quran House at the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
According to the officials of the Institute of the Holy Quran for women at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine: "These girls received an education based on the Holy Quran, and studied its recitation rules, aiming to enter into competition in this field, seeking by this to be closer to Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). Hence, thanks to a strong effort and continuous support by the presidency of the distinguished department headed by the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which outlined the guidelines of the Women's Institute providing them with the available means in order to build up intellectual women who are armed by the Holy Quran. And winning this competition is a proof of that Quranic approach."
It is noteworthy that this is not the first time that the students of the Institute of the Holy Quran for Women have obtained this rank.
