Under the auspices of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, the launch of the conference and the second exhibition of inventions.

The Conference Hall at the Sheikh al-Kulayni complex hosted on Wednesday afternoon the 12th of Rajab 1440 AH corresponding to the March 20, 2019, the opening of the second conference and exhibition of inventors, held under the slogan "Karbala the tender, the center of the science and scientists", which is being held by the inventors forum under the auspices of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for three days amid large presence of scientists and academics.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, its General Secretary; Eng. Mohamad al-Ashigar as well as a number of the members of its board of directors. The ceremony started by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and reading Surat al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, followed by listening to the national Iraqi anthem and the anthem of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine "Tune of Pride".

The ceremony included the word of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi, the speech of the President of the Iraqi Inventors Forum, Professor Zaidoun Khalaf Al-Saadi, and the speech of the head of the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, delivered on his behalf by Professor Mohamed Zeidan Hussein.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the attendees went to the opening of the exhibition of the works having the invention patent. These various inventions were in the medical, pharmaceutical, construction, engineering, nuclear, petrochemical and fertilizer as well as the security fields.
