The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs holds a book fair at the Pharmacy Faculty of the al-Kafeel University.

In continuation of its series of activities aimed at strengthening cooperation between the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the Iraqi universities, the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organized an book fair in the corridors of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Kafeel University.

The fair included a wide range of the publications of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine compatible with the levels of students and professors, including its printed encyclopaedias, magazines and various other publications.

Sayed. Mohammed Al-A'raji, Head of the Exhibitions Unit at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, said: "The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, represented by the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, has initiated a book fair at the al-Kafeel University / Faculty of Pharmacy, presenting about 300 publications between encyclopaedias, magazines, thesis and others."

Dr. Mohammed Al-Rikabi, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Kafeel University, said about this exhibition: "The establishment of such exhibitions is a requirement of the Deanship of the Faculty and the Presidency of the University, to enable the students to read books that are in line with their needs, especially at this time witnessing a great intellectual invasion. Therefore, the student needs to read and listen to a good word, maybe he can find answers many questions in his mind, as the publications in this book fair, deal and respond to the intellectual invasion represented by the atheist movement and the like. "
