A technical team sent by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine began to carry out some maintenance work at the shrine of Sayeda Zaynab (peace be upon her) in the Syrian capital Damascus.
These works are part of previous works and stages aimed at contributing to the rehabilitation of this holy shrine for the convenience of its visitors to enable them perform the Ziyarat rituals and their worship acts with ease.
This technical team has perform various maintenance work as according to the official of the electricity department in the engineering maintenance department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Eng. Ali Abdul Hussein: "The works included the installation of a light decor of 100 meters long and a capacity of 200 Led lamps of 9 watt, and then linking it to the main electricity system to control the change of its colors in accordance with each occasion, as it is done in the rest of the holy shrines, with the provision of (200) backup lamp in case of failure of any lamp. We have also carried out comprehensive maintenance of the electrical cables network that we have installed previously this year, including the receptacles inside the lighthouse. In addition to these works, we have started to maintain and change the lighting system of the holy shrine for the sides of men and women. And we have carried out maintenance work for one of the cranes of the shrine. "
He concluded by saying: "The delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which involved members of the departments of the Sanctuary's care, of the intellectual and cultural affairs and the Department of Engineering maintenance, is trying hard to accomplish the most of the tasks and services entrusted to it to serve the holy shrine of the immaculate Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) and her visitors within the available time."
