The Preparatory Committee of the 15th World Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom Spring announces its detailed program.

The Preparatory Committee of the 15th World Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom Spring, organized and sponsored by the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), announced the detailed program of the festival, which will be held for the period 3 to 7th Sha'ban 1440 AH, to celebrate the birth anniversaries of Imam al-Hussayn, his brother al-Abbas and Imam al-Sajjad (peace be upon them), under the slogan "Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him),the beacon of the nations and the reform of values."

The program includes:

First: The opening ceremony on Tuesday 3rd of Sha'ban 1440 AH corresponding to April 9, 2019 in the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) at 3:30 pm.

Second: Quranic evenings.

Third: Research and Hawza and academic studies.

Fourth: Arabic poetry evening.

Fifth: Poplar poetry evening.

Sixth: Religious stanzas and Muwashshahat.

Seventh: A tour of the projects carried out by the General Secretariats of the two holy shrines.

Eighth: Fair of Books and CDs, with the participation of publishing houses and institutions from inside and outside Iraq.

Ninth: Special activities for the participating delegations inside and outside the holy shrines.

Tenth: Ladies seminar.

Eleventh: Closing ceremony on Saturday 7th of Sha'ban 1440 AH.

It is to note that some of the activities will be held throughout the festival period such as the fairs, while others will be held on specific dates.
