The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine intensifies its relief efforts in the provinces of Wasit and Maysan.

The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has responded exceptionally and urgently to the distress calls sent by the citizens affected by the floods in the provinces of Wasit and Maysan, by sending its relief support rallies to the two provinces. Noting that large efforts are made currently to send large relief caravans to the families affected by the floods in Wasit and Maysan in coordination with the relief units in several provinces.

Also, the engineering effort of the al-Abbas's (peace be upon him) Fighting Squad went to the affected areas in the south of the country, in order to help the families there, which are surrounded by the floods. This action was based on the immediate guidance issued by the command of the Squad. The river force of the squad was also sent to the two provinces, and it also called a troop of its reserve forces in Wasit to support the efforts of the local and federal government in the face of emergency conditions in the province.

In the same context, the Noor Al Hedaya Cultural Foundation, one of the institutions of the Relief Division of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, provided 120 integrated food baskets, furniture, blankets, other household items and clothes of various sizes for those affected by the floods.
