On the 28th of Sha'ban 1440 AH corresponding to May 4, 2019, the Department of Education and Higher Education at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine celebrated the end of the "Al-Mahdawi" program, which aims at educating the students about the responsibilities and duties that lie on them in the time of occultation and to learn social, religious and ethical aspects of dealing with all segments of society, and how to spread the culture of "emergence [of the imam]" under the circumstances and attacks that we are experiencing in our time.
The activities of the program, which was held at the hall of the center of as-Siddiqa at-Tahira (peace be upon her), witnessed the presence of the senior official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi and a member of the Board of Directors of the shrine; Dr. Abbas Rashid Al-Moussawi and the educational assistant, Dr. Mushtaq Al-Ali, in addition to a number of teachers of the Department of Education and Higher Education in the Holy Shrine and the female educational staff in the schools of Al-'Ameed Educational Group.
The ceremony started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah in honor of the martyrs of Iraq. Then came the word of the Educational Assistant to the Department of Education and Higher Education, Professor Mushtaq Al-Ali, who explained in his speech: "The program was on two levels, theory that aimed the students of the first intermediate grade and the second is an application level aimed the students of the second intermediate grade, to be in conjunction with the other programs to complement the activities and events that are being established by the educational institutions of Al-'Ameed Educational Schools Group in order to achieve the objectives of the Department of Education and Higher Education of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. "
Then the senior official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine distributed certificates of thanks and appreciation to the female staff in the schools of the group working on the Mahdawi program in a hundred days.
