The Department of Engineering Maintenance starts the construction of a sanitary complex in the Qibla street in front of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

Due to the importance of the Qibla street of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), because it is one of the most important ports leading directly to the two holy shrines, where there is a great momentum of visitors in the days of special Ziyarat. Based on this, the engineering maintenance department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine started the construction of the sanitary complex in the Qibla street of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), which consists of four floors on an area of (300 square meters).

The head of the engineering maintenance department, Engineer Samir Abbas Ali stated to al-Kafeel global Network: "We started the establishment of sanitary complex in the Qibla street of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) on three floors and on an area of ​​100 square meters for each floor; 60 square meters allocated to women and 40 square meters for men. The fourth floor is for vacuum and storage systems as well as electrical and alarm systems. In addition, the sanitary complex contains two electric elevators.

Adding: "The type of construction is a steel structure, and the work is under the supervision of the staff and cadres of the Department of engineering maintenance through logistical support and the provision of materials and mechanisms as well as implementation."

It is worth mentioning that the engineering maintenance department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has built previously many facilities and sanitary groups in different locations.
