University Relations Division holds the annual al-Kafeel heroes camp for its second edition for 70 students from Iraqi schools.

As part of the national project of the al-Kafeel Youth, which is adopted by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, the activities of the second annual al-Kafeel heroes’ camp were launched for Iraqi schoolchildren from the sons of the martyrs of Iraq from the popular crowd and the security forces, in coordination with the directorates of education and civil society institutions.

The camp, which was established by the Public Relations Department, represented by the Division of University Relations - School Activities Unit at the Holy Shrine, was held in the gardens and halls of Al-'Ameed University, and witnessed the participation of more than 70 students from the governorates (Samawa, Karbala, Babylon and Wasit), aiming to raise awareness of comprehensive knowledge, culture and religion, and the development of students' talents and energies.

The program included on the first day a morning sport activity with specialized cadres followed by breakfast and then a welcoming speech by the Director of the University Relations Division Mr. Maher Khalid and then an explanation of the camp program by Mr. Sajjad Hussein, then there was a series of lectures in human development and Islamic rulings and doctrinal issues and a Quranic lecture on how to read Surat al-Fatiha correctly.

On the second day of the camp, the program started with a morning sport activity and then breakfast, followed by a workshop in self-development followed by another workshop in first aid learning, provided by a specialized cadre of Al-Kafeel Academy for military training and rescue, and then the youth has a tour in the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine nurseries and a tour of the city of the master guardians of the Holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), followed by a sport activity in the Al-‘Alqami complex of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.
