For the fifth year in row, to commemorate what happened in such a day in the year 61 AH, the procession "Heaven's lanterns [Qanadeel as-Sama']" of the servants of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) was launched after the prayers of Maghreb and Isha' of the thirteenth of the holy month of Muharram, with the participation of some children, all wearing white clothes and carrying banners on which was written the names of the martyrs of at-Taf tragedy, starting by the Master of martyrs; Imam Al-Hussayn, his family and companions (peace be upon them).
This condolences procession started from the Qibla gate of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) passing by his holy shrine, mourners joined it in parallel lines, headed by a group of people holding the Holy Quran and banners, walking towards the area between the two holy shrines up to the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), where the mourners chanted elegies about this great tragedy, making the visitors cry loud and wail. The procession was concluded by an elegy and condolence Majlis inside the holy shrine presenting the condolences to the Owner of the Order and Time (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) for this painful anniversary.
