The leadership of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad completes successfully its security and service plan for the Ziyarat Arba'een 1441 AH.

The leadership of the Abbas's (peace be upon him) Fighting Squad (26th Brigade / Popular Mobilization), announced the successful implementation of the security and service plan, which was set up for the protection of visitors arriving to the holy city of Karbala, to perform the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) this year 1441 AH.

"The plan was carried out by more than 5,500 core combatants and reservists, supporting the general plan developed by the security leadership" said Maitham al-Zaidi, supervisor of the Squad.

He explained: "The Squad provided security for the three entrances of Karbala (north toward Baghdad, east toward Hilla, and south toward Najaf), where more than ten million visitors were controlled in our inspections. It is an honor for us to inspect the large numbers of the lovers of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)."

He also pointed out: "There is a high coordination between the Squad and other security leaders and the leadership of the Popular Mobilization Operations, and the plan was implemented with a high flow, thanks to the presence and effective participation of the Squad, which confirms the loyalty of the Master of martyrs (peace be upon him) and the rites of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)."

For his part, the co-supervisor of the Squad, Mr. Haider al-Moussawi, stated: "In addition to the security side, the squad provided other services to visitors, such as transportation, food, drink, and medical services, as well as organizing the movements in the internal garages," adding: "The plan is evolving in each time. This year, it included the provision of accommodation and rest places for visitors and provide everything the visitor needs."

"At the end of the Ziyarat of the 20th of Safar, the group organized a procession of condolence to renew the covenant with the Master of martyrs and his brother al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them)."
