The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine starts its preparations to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

Great sadness will be added to the sadness of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine during the past few days, as the believers are commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), so the sadness is renewed at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and the black banners are hung to express the sadness on the lost of the Master of humans and messengers (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

As is customary on this sad occasion, the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine prepared a special condolences program that included:

• 1- The establishment of condolence councils inside the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine with the participation of visitors who will come to the holy shrine to commemorate this sad anniversary.
• 2- Receiving condolences procession that will launch from the Old City and the rest of the neighborhoods of Karbala, to extend condolences to the awaited Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance), on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of his great grandfather (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).
• 3- A condolence council for the servants of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine will be held in its Hall of Ceremonies.
• 4- Launching the procession of the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayni and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) in the afternoon of 28th Safar, to extend the condolences to Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) on this great calamity.
• 5- Opening the host restaurant of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and its external outlets as well as the main hall inside the holy shrine, and hundreds of meals will be distributed to visitors who will visit the holy city of Karbala to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

It is worth mentioning that the martyrdom of the Seal of Prophets and Messengers; Mohammad son of Abdullah (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) was on the 28th of Safar in the year 11 of the Hijra, he was then 63 years old. The lovers and followers are heading on this occasion to the shrine of the Dragonfly of Religion, the victorious lion of God; Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon him and his father) to extend their condolences to him for the martyrdom of his beloved brother and cousin; the Messenger of Mercy Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), and this is one of the specific Ziyarat of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).
