A great faith presence is witnessed at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

The believers coming from different regions of Karbala as well as the cities near them rush to the shrines of the Master of the martyrs and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them both), and this is a faith tradition that Iraqi families revive Friday eve and when it is coinciding with another religious occasion, the lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) gather in the courtyard between the Two Holy Shrines to celebrate the two occasions together.

The believers will gather on this Friday eve at the holy shrines to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady. Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) according to the last narration. As these days we revive the Fatimi sorrows' days by faith works and worship rituals. And the reward is doubled when this anniversary is revived at the vicinity of the Master of the martyrs and of his brother (peace be upon them both).

In turn, the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, as it is customary in the religious occasions, provided all means of comfort for the honorable visitor, from places of prayer and places of rest, as well as the great efforts provided by its organizational staffs, in order to maintain the smooth flow of the visitors' movement in and out of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

It is noteworthy that the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine witnessed in the recent days, the arrival of dozens of funeral processions, in addition to thousands of visitors who came in order to commemorate the sad memory of the martyrdom of the immaculate Lady Fatima az-Zahra (Allah's prayers be upon her) from the vicinity of the Two Holy Shrines.
