The Minister of Health praises the continued efforts of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to support his ministry and its departments in Baghdad and other provinces to fight the Corona pandemic.

The Iraqi Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Hassan Muhammad Al-Tamimi praised the efforts made by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to support the ministry and its departments in the Baghdad governorate and the rest of the provinces to confront the Corona epidemic, by adopting projects and initiatives that contributed to helping medical staff in these circumstances.
This came during the visit of the Minister, accompanied by the Director General of Baghdad / Al-Rusafa Health Department Dr. Abdul-Ghani Al-Saadi and a number of the ministry's staffs, for the Fifth Hayat Building project, which is implemented by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the treatment of people affected by the Corona virus, within the area of ​​Ibn Al-Qaf Hospital on the Rusafa side of the capital Baghdad, on Thursday (17 Dhu al-Qi'dah 1441 AH) corresponding to July 7, 2020.
The Minister indicated: "Today, we are visiting the Fifth Life Building, which is implemented by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine as a humanitarian initiative to confront the Corona pandemic, which will serve a large geographical area and will contribute to alleviating the pressure on the rest of the isolation lobbies in this side of Baghdad. And we are pleased to witness the determination to quickly accomplish this project, which will be equipped with all necessary medical devices. "
He added: "Our appreciation for the benevolent and blessed efforts of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, headed by its Senior Official; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad Al-Safi, for supporting the Ministry of Health and its medical staff in confronting this epidemic, especially in the Rusafa sector, as it has a large area and a large population density and started to witness an increase in the number of casualties, as this building will contribute to accommodating these numbers of casualties that we hope will ease in the coming days. And we ask God Almighty to help the workers on this project who do their best in these circumstances, in order to complete it and accomplish it within the expected timing ".
Dr. Hassan Al-Tamimi listened to an explanation given by the supervisors of the implementation of this project, to explain the stages of work and the rates of completion.
