The first and third educational complex project is witnessing an acceleration in the pace of its work, which is conducted according to what was planned.
Its general features began to emerge clearly, especially after the progress made in the first phase of this project, which is located in the Al-Ma'malji area in Karbala Governorate.
This is according to what the head of the engineering projects department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, engineer Dea' Majeed al-Sa'egh, explained to the al-Kafeel network, adding: “The project is one of the projects that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine paid great attention to, because of its great role in contributing to the advancement of the educational movement in the Karbala governorate. And it is classified within the high-level projects because it contains advanced joints that serve the beneficiaries."
Regarding the stages of work, the engineer, Ali Hamid, the supervisor of the project by the Engineering Projects Department, said: “According to the plan drawn up by the department, the first phase of the project was completed, including building the structures and foundations and other related works that followed. And this phase witnesses final touches that are about to be completed, including the stage of installing window glass, painting doors, installing some parts of windows, in addition to painting the walls."
Indicating: “In order to complete this stage, work is now underway to finish the work of the glaze, which in turn are about to be fully completed, thus completing the first phase permanently. As for the systems, they are in the complementary stages of the above, including the alarm, the Internet, cameras, the internal broadcasting, in addition to the cooling and sewage systems. "
He also explained: “The ongoing work in the infrastructure phase that includes the outer wall works surrounding the project, the percentage of completion reached 90%, in addition to the rain and sewage networks in the same proportion, in addition to the work of sidewalks, side passages and roads, while the percentage of works related to replacing soil for the area allocated to roads is more than 40%."
It is noteworthy that this project is being built on an area estimated at (45,000 square meters), and it consists of five schools, each of which is of 6,000 square meters, by three floors, two kindergartens, consisting of three floors on an area of (900) square meters, and two sports halls of (900) square meters each.
