The Department of Engineering Maintenance and Construction at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced the completion work progress of the Qur’anic Council project, which is being implemented for the benefit of the Holy Qur’an Institute at the Holy Shrine, as the works reached advances stages according to the developed plans and designs.
The supervisor of this project, Engineer Ammar Salah, told Al-Kafeel Network: “The work is currently distributed on all project joints in parallel lines, and the completion rate of the floor cladding has reached more than (80%). Also the bathrooms are almost completed in addition to the walls' paint, wiring works for electrical and water systems, cameras and other supporting systems. In addition to that, the work started on the facade of the building, which completion rate has reached nearly (80%).
He explained: “The project is being held in the Al-Alqami Service Complex located on the (Babel - Karbala) road, on an area estimated at (1300) square meters and consists of (11) classrooms for lessons, courses and Quranic workshops, in addition to (20) rooms used as housing for students participating in the programs prepared by the institute, with the possibility of using them during the major Ziyarat seasons for purposes related to visitors and serving them. The complex also includes administrative rooms and a large meeting room with an area of (250) square meters, in addition to a studio and bathrooms. "
