Governor of Karbala: the basements of imams al-Hussayn and al-Jawad (peace be upon them) are built with international specifications

The governor of the holy city of Karbala, engineer Nasif Jassim al-Khattabi, confirmed that the basements of the two imams al-Hussayn and al-Jawad (peace be upon them), at the Al-Abbas's (P) Holy Shrine, were built with international standards for their infrastructure.

During his attendance at the opening of the holy shrine of the Imam Hussayn and Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon them) project, al-Khattabi said that "the two new basements carried the ideal international specifications, in terms of architectural construction, infrastructure, integrated electricity, fire, cooling and alarm systems installed in a technical and professional way, to create a suitable atmosphere for the performance of the Ziyarat".

He added,"the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is working to increase the spaces through the acquisition of buildings surrounding the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the establishment of new expansion projects, to see its results today with the opening of the basements of Imam al-Hussayn and Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon them), and it is still in a continuous tender to provide the best services to visitors to the city of Master of the martyrs and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them)."
