Within the horizontal expansion project of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine: the central hall of Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) for occasions and lectures ..

The Head of the Department of Engineering Projects in Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, the Engineer Dea' Majeed As-Sa'egh declared to Al-Kafeel Network the completion of all works of the central Hall for lectures and events, named the (Imam Al-Hassan "peace be upon him" hall) to be added to the series of modern facilities designed according to the latest international designs, and built with materials of high quality specifications, in order to be ready to receive the events, conferences, seminars, lectures and other cultural matters organized by the holy shrine of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

He added: "The opening of the Hall of Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) was during the ceremony held on the occasion of the completion of the first phase of the horizontal expansion project of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, where was truncated one-storey of the expansion with an area of 885 square meters and in a single storey with a height of five meters, in order to locate this hall in the area between the entrances of Imam Al-Hassan (peace be upon him) and of Al-Qiblah. This typical hall can accommodate up to 300 people, as well as an other small hall that can accommodate up to 68 people"

It is worth to mention that the purpose of the establishment of this hall is the need of a central hall that can host all events organised by the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, especially with its activities' expansion. Like holding many conferences, lectures, festivals and religious, scientific, cultural and academic competitions, as well as various development courses and practical workshops with different specializations, in addition to the religious occasions either of joys or of sorrows.
