The completion of the project of carpet's warehouse of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in a record time..

Under the direct supervision and the continuous follow-up of the projects' department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the company of Anwar Al-Hadr General Contracting Ltd has finished the works on the carpet's warehouse of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine withing the planned schedule, to add this grand edifice to the number of service projects that the holy shrine carries out in line with the expansion of its projects and its aspirations for the future, especially regarding its specialized projects.

The head of the department of engineering projects at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; the Engineer Dea' Majeed As-Sae'gh explained to the Al-Kafeel Network the following: "The department of engineering projects has made additional efforts in order to accelerate the implementation of this project, being one of the important and rare projects not only in Karbala, but in whole Iraq, as it was implemented with modern art designs, which took into account the factors of beauty, durability and the origin as it is used for the storage of carpet, hence we were sure of the matching of the done work with the approved designs, in addition to being sure of the conformity of the used materials in the established laboratory tests and quality control."

Mr. As-Sa'egh added the following: "Immediately upon completion of the architectural part of the project, the department of storing at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine proceeded in equipping the warehouse with the latest international and modern means used in the work of carpet's storing in terms of temperature and special shelves' system for storage, taking into account the quality of the carpet (either manual or industrial), its weight and thickness."

It is to note that the establishment of these warehouses came as a result of the expansion in all the divisions and facilities of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and that the carpet is a material used in abundance at the holy shrine, as well as the need to provide alternatives in case of any damage. This project is set up in the area of "Ibrahimyah" located on the route (Karbala-Babylon) within the warehouses' compound of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine (As-Saqqa' 2) on an area of 1070 square meters on four floors with a total area of 3116 square meters and a height of 15,60 meters, each floor contains six storage halls and service and administrative rooms. The warehouse will be equipped with electrical systems such as the integrated lighting, fire alarm, grounding system and the administration of the building in addition to the mechanical systems such as the systems of ventilation, fire protection, water nutrition and sanitation.
