Engineering Projects Department finishes the installation of a water station with a capacity of 1000 liters

The Engineering Projects Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has completed the installation of a water station with a capacity of 1000 liters per hour, on the road connecting the provinces of Karbala and Najaf (Al-Ulama road).

This activity is supervised by the water division of the Department.

"Under the guidance of the Senior Official of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, and the head of the Engineering Projects Department, engineer Dia al-Saegh, our division installed a water station with a capacity of 1000 liters per hour, on the road connecting the governorates of Karbala and Najaf (Ulama road), where the land was buried with clean dirt and loose gravel and the floor was poured using reinforced concrete,"said the division official, Mr. Ahmed Al-Hasnawi.

He added,"a room with an area of 70 square meters was built inside which includes the desalination plant and water tanks, as well as the construction of manholes to distribute water to the houses near the station, and installed water coolers for visitors passing by this road, and the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine donated this station to Haj Kadhim servant of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl Abbas(peace be upon them)".

For his part, Haj Kadim Aboud Hussein said, "We thank Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, who directed the installation of this water station on the visitors' road, we previously bought water for its scarcity, and thank God this station will contribute to ending this crisis."
