Grids' Manufacturing Department: work is continuing to implement the grids of the basements of Imams al-Hussayn and al-Jawad (peace be upon them)

The head of the department of manufacturing of grids and doors of the holy shrines at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed. Nadhem al-Gharabi, announced that work is continuing to implement the grids of the basements of imams al-Hussayn and al-Jawad (peace be upon them).

Al-Gharabi said that"the work that falls on the responsibility of the staff of the department at the present time is to establish the two basement grids of imams al-Hussayn and al-Jawad (peace be upon them) inside the holy courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)".

"After taking measurements and selecting designs, the external wooden structures reinforced with (stainless steel) were created and constructed, and then the final design was developed, and then presented to the Senior Official of the holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, for approval and implementation,"he added.

"Work is underway on the implementation of the two grids, as some pieces have been completed by 100%, others are under implementation, and all the pieces are being worked on at the same time,"Al-Gharabi continued.

The head of the department explained that"the grids of the basements of the two imams al-Hussayn and al-Jawad (peace be upon them) consist of a set of parts, including the silver base that tops the alabaster, the side columns, the bases of the side columns, the anvils that top the side columns, the pillars, the poetic inscriptions, the decorative frieze and the Quranic inscription that is the top of the grid".
