The Engineering Projects Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine confirmed that the percentage of completion in the building of al-Zaki Specialized Hospital in Babylon governorate reached more than (47%).
The head of the Department, engineer Dia Majeed al-Sa'egh, said that " the works in the hospital building are continuing in full swing, according to international standards that mimic the development taking place in the world," pointing out that "the hospital includes (230) beds with an area of (6.5) dunums, and the total area of the buildings is (33573) square meters, the main building is (24617) square meters, while the Annex and services building area is (8821) square meters".
He added that "the percentage of completion in the project, which comes funded by the Shiite endowment Bureau, and is implemented by the Iraqi Baldawi Company, has reached advanced stages and reached more than (47%), and includes two buildings, the main one consists of (4) floors (basement, ground and two floors), the other contains (8) floors (basement, ground and six floors), (8) operation halls and another for catheterization and IVF operations, as well as(7) elevators in the main building one load (1275) kg, and (4) others for the second building, the load of one elevator is(1600) kg".
According to as-Sa'egh, the project includes "medical gas, steam and hot water organizations, sewage and clean water plants, and a water plant (R.O) a high and low pressure electricity system, a fire extinguishing system, a communication system that includes a switch, internet, TV, alarm, acoustics, cameras, calling nurses, in addition to an automatic control system (PMS), a cooling system (HVAC), as well as two sample transportation and waste recycling systems".
