The member of the board of Directors of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Mohammad al-Ashigar, confirmed that the Al-Joud intravenous solutions factory of the holy shrine will cover a large part of the country's need for these solutions.
This came in his presence at the opening ceremony of the factory, which was held in the presence of the Senior Official of the holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, a number of its officials, religious and official figures and specialists from inside and outside Karbala governorate.
"Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine aims, through the opening of the factory, to cover a large part of Iraq's needs for intravenous solutions, as it produces more than 24 types of solutions in different categories, which contributes to enhancing drug Security, supporting the health sector and enhancing drug security in the country,"Al-Ashigar said.
He added that" the factory was established with great efforts by the staff of the Engineering Projects Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, and equipped with production lines of international origin, "pointing out that"the factory has a license from the Iraqi Ministry of Health."
The holy shrine opened today, Wednesday, the Al-Joud intravenous solutions factory in Karbala governorate, with a production capacity of up to 27 million bottles per year, manufactured according to international specifications; in order to contribute to achieving pharmaceutical security and supporting the health sector in Iraq.
