Continuous works in the project of the guest complex of Imam Al-Hadi (peace be upon him)..

Great strides and rapid steps are made by the workers in the project of the Guest Complex of Imam Al-Hadi (peace be upon him) of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, with the combined efforts, the continuous follow-up and the field supervision of the Department of the engineering projects at the holy shrine, which also worked to overcome all obstacles, including the administrative and technical ones, and the executive company has also spared no effort in order to complete this edifice as befits the guest of the Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
The completion rate of the whole project has reached more than 75%, as the works are conducted in a sequential way, floor by floor according to time and executive plan, which was developed by the implemented companies (Tayba Karbala and Husa General Contracting). The ongoing works are covering the floors and walls in an advanced stage, after the completion of all installation works of the systems of electricity, warning, fire alarm, cooling and others.
The works included also the completion of the installation of the four electric lifts, in parallel with other works such as the covering of the building's interface and the interior doors installation, as well as other finishing works that have reached very advanced stages, in addition to the installation of the iron structure on the top of the building to carry the cooling systems and water tanks.
It is worth mentioning that the project's building consists of a basement and eight floors, the basement is allocated to the sanitary services for men and others for women, as well as those for the disabled.
The ground floor consists of a reception lounge for men and women, a part of warehouses, the first and second floors contain two hall dedicated to catering the guests of the holy shrine in addition to a central kitchen. The remaining six floors are allocated to the accomodation, 110 rooms divided evenly.
