After the completion of most of the preliminary work in the fifth and last section of the cladding work of the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al Abbas (peace be upon him), which took a good period of time because of its importance and accuracy of implementation, especially with regard to linking service systems as well as removing old concrete parts and repairing the damaged ones, and pouring concrete floor to prepare the ground for cladding, with special specifications treatment of building materials to help the adhesion to the old floor and other that prevent moisture. The technical staff began the first stages of the completion of this section, which is located in the southern part between the Qibla gate and the gate of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him).

According to the head of engineering projects at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Engineer Dia' Majeed Al-Sa'egh: "The work is underway in order to complete it in the coming days, and does not affect the movement of visitors that will increase during this holy month."

Al-Sa'egh said: "The work is carried out according to what is planned and according to its technical and temporal schedule, which requires a lot of accuracy in implementation, especially for linking the service systems with each other."

The project is executed by the Engineering Projects Department and the Engineering Maintenance Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. It is a complement to a series of projects carried out in a the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and as a result of the great damage of the current marble, which led to the distortion of its general view in addition to being old, as it has been more than (50) years since its installation until it was included within the implemented projects without intersection with other projects.
