In conjunction with the reconstruction and development works of the Holy Shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the staff of the Technical Engineering Maintenance Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine completed the installation of decorative triangles on the Iwans' windows of the Sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), to replace the old windows that have been installed for many years.
The installation of these forms came in order to give aesthetic to them and create a state of artistic symmetry between them and the rest of the sanctuary, making them in the best image to the delight of the intended viewers and visitors.
These works are complementary to the projects that have been completed previously, including the maintenance and cladding of Iwans with the streaky Kashi Karbala'i. And these windows have remained the same, And it was time to start the process of installing new windows to add an artistic and aesthetic touch to the form of the Iwan, to form with it and with the rest of the Iwans an artistic masterpiece executed by the servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
These windows were designed and manufactured in the workshops of the Department of good quality wood, where the necessary measurements were taken for each window, which is located in the middle of the upper inner part of the Iwan. The new installation is a curved window in which it contains interlaced decorations intertwined with a circle on which it was inscribed (Ya Qamar Bani Hashim), and then under it the name of each department or division operating inside the holy shrine. Each window is surrounded by a frame with a width of about (10 cm) and a thickness of about (7 cm), which is wrapped from the inside with a layer that allows the passage of light through it.
