The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine took a number of precautionary measures to prevent the Corona virus, whether for the servants of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) or his visitors.

According to the official of the Division of Medical Affairs in the Holy Shrine, Dr. Osama Abdel-Hassan Kadhem: “Given the appearance of infections in a number of countries of the world with (Corona) disease, especially the neighboring countries, and for the safety of visitors and employees, which is part of the priorities of our work, we have taken a number of preventive health measures that will contribute In limiting it if it appears in Iraq - may God Almighty forbid - and based on the principle (prevention is better than cure)."

And Abdel-Hassan explained, "One of these measures is the concern to follow the methods of public health and safety, especially for the departments that are in direct contact with the visitor, such as the host restaurant, service, public relations, and order maintenance Departments, with an emphasis on making a daily report on these procedures."

He added: "The matter is not limited to this aspect only, but there are other measures that will be implemented, according to the requirements and needs of the situation, in addition to preparing for the establishment of awareness-raising, instructional and educational workshops and lectures about the disease."

It is noteworthy that the Supreme Religious Authority called in the Friday prayer sermon yesterday, the health authorities in Iraq, to ​​mobilize their energies to confront the threat of the deadly Coronavirus and prepare for it.
