A Quranic evenings with the activities of the sixth Cultural Festival of Imam al-Baqer (peace be upon him).

On the evening of Tuesday (February 25, 2020), a Quranic evening was held within the activities of the Imam Al-Baqer (peace be upon him) Cultural Festival in its sixth edition, with the participation of a group of readers of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the presence of visitors.

The evening began with a recitation of the reader, Ammar Al-Hilli, to be followed by a recitation of the reader Faisal Al-Matar, and then a recitation of the reader Mohammad Redha Salman.

On this evening, a member of the Preparatory Committee for the Imam Al-Baqer Festival (peace be upon him), Deputy Head of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Mr. Aqeel Abdul-Hussein Al-Yasiri, said: “A Quranic evening was held with the participation of a number of the best readers of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, based on the Qur’anic orientations of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, which aims to spread and root the culture of the Noble Qur’an through the establishment of festivals, and Quranic evenings and forums in it. "

He added: "We hope in the coming editions of the festival - God willing - that there will be wider participation by international readers from inside and outside Iraq."

It is noteworthy that the sixth Imam Al-Baqer (peace be upon him) cultural festival, held by the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, was held yesterday, Tuesday (February 25) under the slogan: (Imam Al-Baqer - peace be upon him - the treasure of the message and of the Imamate).
