The al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine is following the health status of the wounded and the procedures for transporting the bodies of the victims of the traffic accident in Syria.

The Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed. Ahmad Al-Safi, instructed to follow up the health conditions of the wounded in the traffic accident that occurred on the outskirts of the Syrian city of Damascus, in addition to following the necessary procedures to transport the bodies of the victims.
Assistant Secretary General of the Holy Shrine Mr. Maitham Al-Zaidi stated: “Immediately upon hearing this painful news, the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine His Eminence, Sayed. Ahmad Al-Safi, instructed to follow up the health conditions of the wounded and injured and the necessary measures to transport the victims.”
He added: "At this time, the Holy Shrine's servants present in Syria to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), are following up the official procedures with the Iraqi embassy regarding the transfer of victims and wounded."
Noting: "We, in turn, as the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, followed the transport of the wounded and victims with the Prime Minister's Office, the Joint Operations Command and the Ministry of Defense, to secure a military plane that transports the dead and also the wounded, in coordination also with the local government in the holy city of Karbala, as it provided all medical needs and requirements."
He affirmed that: "Work is underway to transfer the bodies of the victims and some of the wounded this day with the help of God."
It is noteworthy that the traffic accident took place yesterday, on the outskirts of Damascus, between buses carrying Iraqi visitors and an oil tanker truck.
