In pictures: The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine celebrates with joy the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

As usual in every year in such blessed days, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its surrounding areas celebrates with joy the birth anniversary of the Dragonfly of the Religion, the Leader of the resplendent faithful and the Guardian of the Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household); Imam Ali Ibnu Abi Taleb (peace be upon him).

The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has prepared a diversified celebration program for this occasion, including decorating the holy shrine with flowers and banner to celebrate the auspicious birth anniversary, as well as colorful lamps that matched the lamps of the sanctuary's ceiling.

The main entrances of the shrine were decorated with wreaths of flowers, roses and natural plants as well as colorful lamps that added beauty to this holy place for this great occasion. Also the area between the two holy shrines was adorned to manifest the celebrations as well as the roads and streets leading to the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
