Within the cultural & intellectual activities, the El-Abbas holy shrine participates in the El-Jawadain International Book Fair

The El-Abbas holy shrine represented by its Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs participated in the El-Jawadain International Book Fair held by the El-Kadhim holy shrine in Baghdad – Iraq.

Regarding Rajab month which coincides with May 12 – June 11, 2013, and the auspicious birthday of the infallible Imam Mohammed El-Baqir (p.b.u.h) and his great role in eternalizing the knowledge and sciences of Ahlulbait (p.b.u.t), the El-Abbas holy shrine participated in the El-Jawadain International Book Fair held on May 10 2013 until May 20, 2013.

The deputy head of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs in the El-Abbas holy shrine Sayed Aqeek El-Yaseri said, “This participation is to confirm the spirit of the intellectual and cultural continuity among the holy shrines in Iraq and to manifest the comprehensive revivalism scientifically, culturally and architecturally that the El-Abbas holy shrine witnessed.”

He also said that the festival considered one of the important international festivals that should be shed light upon, and manifested the achievements and projects of the El-Abbas holy shrine.

Not only the El-Abbas holy shrine takes care of the architectural projects, it also takes good care of the cultural aspects.
The fair witness participation by so many countries as well as the holy shrines in Iraq.
