Lecknow – India, the Muhammedian culture spread & instilled starting from the Commander of the Faithful First Annual Cultural Festival

May 23, 2013. On the occasion of the blessed birthday of Imam Ali Bin Abi Talib (p.b.u.h), the beginning of the activities of the Commander of the Faithful {Imam Ali (p.b.u.h)} First Annual Cultural Festival which is sponsored by the El-Abbas holy shrine and being held under the title of (The Commander of the Faithful (Imam Ali {p.b.u.h} is the Successor of the Divine Message & the Commander of the Islamic Nation) at Bara Imam Bara the world’s largest Hussainya (Mosque) in Lucknow – India.

The festival has been attended by so many eminent figures. It’s been inaugurated with reciting verses of Noble Quran then a speech representing the holy shrines of Kerbala Holy City delivered. It’s been held in Lucknow – India for this City being famous for its great influential Islamic scholars. The delegation representing the holy shrines of Kerbala Holy City has felt a great hospitality by the Indian people.

The previous ruler of Jehar Kend City – India, has delivered a speech in which he mentioned the necessity of holding such festivals and activities especially by remarkable entities such as the El-Abbas holy shrine which represents the profound rooting for the culture of Ahlulbait (p.b.u.t). He concluded by hoping rerunning the same festival in different cities in India.

The festival was concluded with a speech delivered by Mr. Adil El-Hemmami, a member of the board of the El-Abbas holy shrine in which he said, “We have come in order to share you the great bliss of the blessed birthday of the Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali Bin Abi Talib (p.b.u.h) who te Prophet Mohammed (p.b.u.h) said about (Adoring Imam Ali Bin Abi Talib is the sign of being a faithful Muslim).”
