The Ministry of Industry: The Iraqi Industrial Information Repository, which was implemented by the staffs of the al-Abbas's shrine, is a pioneering project and an advanced step in the field of scientific research

The Iraqi Ministry of Industry, through its scientific advisor, Professor Ammar Abdullah Hamad, stated that the construction of the Iraqi Industrial Information Repository, which was implemented by the staff of the Indexing and Information Systems Center of the Library and House of Manuscripts of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, is one of the pioneering projects in our ministry and represents an advanced step in the field of scientific research, for the information it provides that contributes to developing and enriching the scientific research.
This was stated in a letter sent to the Al-Abbas's Holy Shrine, which also stated: “We express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Indexing and Information Systems Center for their efforts in providing assistance, technical support and advice in building the Iraqi industrial information repository.”
Hamad affirmed: “There is a sincere desire to renew the frameworks of fruitful cooperation and scientific and cultural coordination, which enhance the scientific development in our beloved country, and we hope to complete the work with the Ministry's team assigned to oversee the completion of the project and to complete the final phase and finally launch it, to be one of the pioneering projects in this field in Iraq".
It is noteworthy that the Indexing and Information Systems Center had earlier launched, in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, an industrial information network for patents for Iraqis, and presented it on a special website in order for scientists and researchers to benefit from their perusal, in addition to contributing to collecting scientific and practical products for them, and classifying and preserving them. This cooperation came at the request of the cooperation submitted to the al-Abbas's holy shrine by the Ministry of Industry, and it was launched experimentally via the following link: http://www.iiir-mim.gov.iq/xmlui/ ..
