Indexing and Information Systems Center: We have added the Library of al-Kadhemiyah shrine and the University of Qadisiyah in the most recent reports of the International Federation of Libraries.

The Indexing and Information Systems Center of the Library and Manuscripts House of the al-Abbas's (P) Holy Shrine has announced that it has included both the Library of the al-Kadhemiyah Holy Shrine and al-Qadisiyah University within the most recent reports of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), through the axis (Remote Work Management) to be among the active and effective libraries during the spread of the Corona epidemic.
The inclusion in this important report came through the representative of Iraq in the Foundation and one of its accredited members, which is the Indexing and Information Systems Center of the Library and House of Manuscripts of the Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, according to what was confirmed to the al-Kafeel Network, by the center’s official, Mr. Hassanein Al-Mousawi.
He added: "With these two libraries, the number of libraries that have been added to the reports of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) has reached 11 libraries, since the outbreak of the pandemic and the disruption of librarianship institutions, which are: The Ameed Scientific Library, Diyala University Library, Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) University Library, the Al-Mustansiriya University Library and the Iraqi University Library, in addition to the Al-Ameed Central University Library, the Central Library at Nahrain University and the Iraqi Association for Libraries and Information, as well as the library and manuscripts house of the al-Abbas's holy shrine, which has been included since the publication of these reports."
Al-Mousawi explained: "We are continuing to add other libraries and we are seeking to increase their number in the future, according to the conditions set by the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions, and thus we contribute to strengthening the name and position of Iraq on this international site, which membership includes more than (150) countries, and our doors are open for cooperation with any public or private library that fulfills the requirements, and wishes to be part of this series of reports that are constantly updated and free of charge.
