The Women's Library is organizing a virtual book fair to commemorate the death of the Prophet (Allah’s prayers be upon him and his family).

The Women's Library Division of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the al-Abbas's (P) Holy Shrine organized a virtual book fair commemorating the death of the Noble Prophet Mohammad (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family). A bunch of selected books and encyclopedias that date back to different historical eras were presented, dealing with various aspects of the life of the greatest messenger, among the books of the library and the House of Manuscripts of the Holy Shrine.
About this exhibition, Mrs. Azhar Al-Khafaji, responsible for the lending unit in the library, spoke about this exhibition to Al-Kafeel Network, saying: “The holding of this exhibition commemorates this sad anniversary that afflicted the Islamic nation on such days, as it is considered a fruit from the gardens of the greatest Prophet and displays many valuable books, which talk about his blessed biography, with all its cultural, social, scientific and political details, as nearly seven valuable encyclopedias have been presented, consisting of several volumes of the best authors and investigators, in addition to other valuable books.
She added, "Any participant can view, browse and borrow any book presented online, by filling out the online form at the link: https://forms.gle/7WQaDSnjzSTcUCRX9 and to visit the exhibition https://alkafeel.net/women_library/video.php?id= 257 ".
Al-Khafaji concluded: “The exhibition comes within the package of cultural and media activities and events that the library launched virtually during the Corona pandemic, in order to highlight the most important sources of knowledge that the library contains for old writers, and it is an opportunity to inform researchers and introduce them to it, as it is a first step in advance for the establishment of a more comprehensive exhibition in the coming days.
