165000 book titles the Kerbala Ninth International Book Fair

The Kerbala International Book Fair which has been open from June 15-25, 2013 has closed its activities with 235 participating Publishing Houses from inside and outside of Iraq.

Sayed Aqeel Abdul Hasan El-Yasieri, the head of the media committee of the Ninth International Cultural Martyrdom Spring Festival stated that more than 165 various books in the field of science, religions, literature, poetry, philosophy in addition to books for children, family and youth had been displayed at.

It's been mentioned that on the closing of the book fair, more than 5 million books had been displayed. It's also been mentioned that the Secretariats-General of the Imam Hussein and El-Abbas holy shrines had a great role in sponsoring the fair.
