The Secretary General of the al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine conducted a tour of the Firdaws and Awali agricultural projects.

The Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Eng. Mohammad Al-Ashigar, accompanied by his deputy, Eng. Abbas Musa, conducted a tour to both the Firdaws and Awali Agricultural Projects, which are among the major and strategic agricultural projects adopted by the Holy Shrine as a contribution to the advancement of the agricultural field in the country, by investing desert lands in the Karbala governorate to produce crops with economic returns that contribute to achieving food security and restoring the national agricultural identity.
Mr. Al-Ashigar was accompanied in this tour by the head of the engineering projects department in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the director of Al-Kafeel Hospital, and the two project directors, who provided a detailed explanation of what the two projects had achieved and their annual plan for planting strategic crops, as well as the latest work in the solar power plants, which will generate alternative energy to electric energy in these projects.
At the end of this tour, Mr. Al-Ashigar praised the efforts made in these projects and urged those in charge to continue their efforts to complete all projects' stages.
