Establishing Fatimi mourning councils in the courtyard of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The mourning program prepared by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to commemorate the martyrdom of Our Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her) included many activities, including mourning councils.

Among those councils is the mourning council that is held annually by the Hussayni Rhetoric Division at the Holy Shrine, and which lasts for three days by morning and evening sessions, in order to remember the sad memory of the martyrdom of her father's mother, Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her), and the misfortunes that occurred on her after the martyrdom of the Holy Prophet; Mohammad (Allah’s prayers be upon him and his family), until she departed from this world, leaving anguish in the hearts of those who love and adhere to the school of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

The morning council is held in the courtyard of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and includes a religious lecture by Sheikh Ali Al-Khafaji, and the evening session is delivered by Sheikh Najah Al-Rumaithi followed by Radood Ali Basha.

The two khatibs discussed in their councils luminous glimpses from the blessed biography of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) and how to benefit from her wisdom and her sermons, and make them a beacon for everyone, as she gives in them an integrated school that is compatible with all times and eras.
