The Water Station of the al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine Increases Production Capacity with 12 Thousand Liters per Hour.

The staff of the Water Division of the Engineering Projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine have increased the production capacity of the central water station by 12,000 liters per hour, in order to provide additional quantities of potable water. This will ensure the full needs of the holy shrine, its visitors, and the surrounding service facilities, in addition to the residents of the city who live close to it, on the one hand, and on the other hand, to provide additional stations in the event of any failure or disruption in any of the system's stations. With this increase, the total production capacity of the station is (46) thousand liters / hour.

Eng. Bassam Al-Hashimi, the head of the water division at the al-Abbas's (p)holy shrine, told the al-Kafeel network: "The personnel of the operating unit in our division have established an additional RO desalination plant to serve visitors of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) with a capacity of 12,000 liters per hour, in order to increase the production of water at the main station that feeds the Holy shrine and the fountains scattered in the area between the two holy shrines and the sites belonging to the holy shrine, as well as the residents next to the shrine as we have allocated a fountain to supply them with water" he said.

He emphasized: "The water produced in the plant is characterized by high purity and is subjected to laboratory tests, which are carried out according to schedules at the rate of every four hours, to ensure the quality and safety of the water and its conformity with drinking water specifications."
