The servants of the holy Maqam of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) dedicated themselves to serving the visitors, amidst strict health and preventive measures.

The servants of the Maqam of Imam al-Mahdi (may God hasten his holy reappearance) affiliated to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, exerted extraordinary and double efforts during the Ziyarat of mid of Sha'ban, so you see them racing to serve the visitors in the midst of strict health and preventive measures.

In order to get acquainted with these activities, the head of the Maqam Department, Haj Adnan Ni'mah Al-Da'if, spoke to Al-Kafeel Network, saying: “Efforts have been intensified in line with the general situation of the Corona pandemic and the need for special preparations, as the divisions and units working in this holy place have worked to implement a security, service and health plan, which is part of the general plan of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to make the visitor perform his Ziyarat rituals and worship with ease, while maintaining the flow and continuity of movement, as well as working to reduce crowds and achieve the principle of social distancing as much as possible, whether inside or around the Maqam."

He added: "The new halls that were recently added to the shrine as part of its expansion project had a great impact in reducing crowding and giving more freedom to the visitor, and our staff are working around the clock to implement the plan's joints, starting from the roads leading to the shrine to its courtyards. And thank God, things are going according to what was planned, despite the exceptional health conditions. "

He concluded, "There are also a number of maqam servants who distributed sweets and water to the visitors, as well as continuous campaigns to clean the place and its surroundings."

It is noteworthy that in the mid of Sha'ban, most of the visitors of the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them both) go to the holy Maqam, in order to congratulate the Master of Order and Advent (may God hasten his holy reappearance) on his birth anniversary. So the servants of this holy place provide all the security and service means to the dear visitors.
