A qualitative operation to a sixty-year-old woman to restore her back straight.

A medical team at the Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced its success in the surgery to correct the spinal scoliosis of a patient in her 60's.
A specialist in neurosurgery at the hospital, the Lebanese physician Dr. Amer Al-Seb'ali said: “Our medical team succeeded in correcting the scoliosis (deviation and curvature of the spine) for a 63-year-old patient,” indicating that: “scoliosis was of 35%. And the patient suffered from a narrowing of the spinal canal, accompanied by severe pain that made her unable to live her life normally."
Dr. Al-Seb'ali added, "The operation took five hours, with the help of a distinguished medical team and skilled anesthesiologists, in addition to the presence of modern technologies that encouraged us to conduct the operation," noting that: "The operation was successful and the patient regained the straightness of her back and she is now in good health."
