A medical team at the Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced its success in treating a patient in his forties suffering from inflammation of the seventh nerve.
The specialist in pain medicine and regional anesthesia at the hospital, Dr. Reda Muhammad Al-Kaabi, said: “Our medical team has succeeded in treating a patient in his forties suffering from inflammation of the seventh nerve, using the techniques of pain medicine and regional anesthesia,” noting that: “The patient has been suffering from this inflammation for four years.” .
Dr. Al-Kaabi explained, "The inflammation affected the motor ability of the nerve, causing it to lethargic in the muscles of the forehead area, and the muscles around the eye, cheek and jaw on the left side of the face," stressing that: "The patient responded to the stimulation quickly and he is in good health now."
