Various publications of the Department of Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs at Baghdad International Book Fair.

The Department of Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine participated in the activities of the 22nd Baghdad International Book Fair, which started yesterday, Thursday, under the slogan: (The Book is a Homeland), with the participation of more than (220) local, Arab and foreign publishing houses.
A group of publications that approached (130) titles was displayed, including encyclopedias, series, books and refereed and cultural magazines issued by the centers affiliated to the department: (Karbala Heritage Center, Basra Heritage Center, Hilla Heritage Center, and the Holy Qur’an Institute), in addition to displaying a number of Artistic paintings related to Arabic calligraphy and Islamic decoration.
The official of the aforementioned department's pavilion, Mr. Mustafa Abdul-Sattar Al-Shummari, said: "The participation of our department in this exhibition comes as part of the intellectual and cultural activities aimed at reviving the Islamic heritage."
He added, "Our pavilion was also distinguished by the fact that all of its exhibits were written and realized by the staff of the same department, and we are always keen to participate in such exhibitions and forums, in order to convey our message and our publications to the largest number of people within a short period of time."
