A delegation from the Guidance and Moral Support Committee of the Religious Affairs Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine visited a number of operations districts in Diyala Governorate, in order to inspect their conditions, provide them with support and raise their morale. This tour came in conjunction with the seventh anniversary of the issuance of the fatwa of defense that protected the Iraq's land and its sanctities.
The head of the committee, Sheikh Hayder Al-'Aredhi, explained to Al-Kafeel Network: “This visit is part of the committee’s program to inspect the security forces in all the sectors of the operations according to a time and place schedule that was set for this purpose. Our visit to the districts of Diyala operations included the command of Diyala operations and the headquarters of Brigade/28 Popular Mobilization and its associated regiments in Khaniqeen district."
Al-'Aredhi explained: "The members of the visiting delegation had a meeting with the fighters, and during their meeting they conveyed the greetings of the supreme religious authority as well as of their brothers at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in addition to providing them with some materials and giving them blessing gifts from the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)."
The fighters, in turn, expressed their thanks and praise for the initiative of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and they appreciated its permanent presence in these districts, stressing at the same time that such initiatives will increase their morale and determination to continue their path in defending the soil of this country.
