A medical team at the Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the success of the operation to correct the deviation of the spine for a patient in her forties.
The specialist in neurosurgery at the hospital, Dr. Khaled Al-Sarraj, said, "Our medical team succeeded in opening, fixing and adjusting the deviation of the spine, with the implantation of artificial cartilage for a patient in her forties," noting that: "the patient was suffering from multiple slippages in the vertebrae."
Dr. al-Sarraj added, "The slips caused the patient to have weakness in the lower extremities and the inability to move normally," explaining that: "After the operation, the patient is recovering."
